When you take a step inside the entrance door, it will feel like the "Mediterranean". You will be greeted by a calm atmosphere with fantastic views over Lake Vättern.

Uppgränna är en liten by som ligger 2,5 km norr om Gränna i Gränna socken i Jönköpings kommun, vid gamla rikshuvudväg 1, som i alla tider varit ett viktigt stråk genom landet, pilgrimsled mot Alvastra och Trondheim och ”eriksgatuväg”.
Ljuvliga vyer och härliga promenadstråk är signatur för området och in till Gränna kommer man på bara några minuter. Närhet till E4an och bra kommuniktation.
Uppgränna är omgivet av ett kulturlandskap som innehåller minnen från forntid, vikingatid och medeltid. Vid Holavedsledens början strax norr om Uppgränna finns en runsten från 1000-talet, liksom en minnessten, som erinrar om Heliga Korsets kapell, byggt omkring 1330.
Längs en stig från Uppgränna når man ruinen efter greve Per Brahe den yngres mäktiga slottsborg Brahehus.
